If one ink cartridge is removed, the Brother machine will automatically begin cleaning. Gently push the scanner cover support down.Į. Lift the scanner cover to release the lock. Push the white plastic hook towards the cartridge to verify it is fully latched over the top edge of the cartridge. Press down firmly on the top of the cartridge until it is fully seated. ![]() Put the ink cartridge(s) back in its designated position. Install each color in its designated position. Reinstall the ink cartridges in the order indicated by the Brother machine's LCD.
